What I Wore Yesterday: The Wrap Dress from FV for Downy Mystique collection, exclusively on Fashion Valet and heels from ZARA.

I was rushing so I forgot all my accessories, but not that it matters anyways, because my hair added that extra something to otherwise a pretty plain look.

I love my hairstylist, I do. I hope he stays forever at the salon so that I don't have to find another hairstylist (though that was how I found him, because my old hairstylist moved and her new salon was just too far from where I'm living currently..). See, I used to have this habit of always having a reference picture when I'm getting my hair cut or done. Trust issues I suppose. But with Disksum (my hairstylist, pronounced Dickson), I can just walk in to the salon and sit on the chair and tell him, "I wanna cut my hair short" without showing him any picture and letadaaaa! I love my short hair! He'll always ask me, "Do you want fringe?" "Do you want more layers?" and because I trust him THAT much my standard reply to him is always, "Up to you". He must think I don't have an opinion of my own or something lol. 

Anyways, same thing when I decided to get my hair done with the wedding. I couldn't be bothered to find a picture of how I want my up-do to be like, I just showed him what I was going to wear and let him do his job. I walked out of the salon without seeing properly how the back of my hair looked like (again, rushing). I was at the wedding and asked Raema to take a picture of my hair and my first reaction was, "Ahhhhhh, so THAT's how it looks like from the back..."

And then I declared my love for my hairstylist silently after seeing the photos.

Girls, remember when you were a teen and you have conversations with your girlfriends about weddings and you wonder which one of you will end up getting married first? Jyeah well, I finally have a friend, actually friends, because I'm both friends with the bride and the groom, who are married as of yesterday! :D

"Oh God. This is it isn't it, this is the first of many.. Soon we'll start attending more of our friends' weddings.."

On one hand it's kinda daunting, to think that you have friends that are already married (to be fair they are a few years older than I am.. but still!). As if adulthood couldn't be any more obvious for me (seriously, why am I always tired?! I'm oooollllddd), I now have married friends! :O

But mostly it was beautiful to see your friends tying the knot. See, I knew them as a couple first. I remember adoring watching them cook together, because that's just how they are. They work so well as one unit, they complemented each other. & Then I watched how distance separated those two :( To know their love story, to watch how lovely they are as a unit together and then have distance separate them but lastly you get to see them close that chapter of their lives and open a new chapter as husband and wife.. No words but :")

Swing Dress

I was feeling much better yesterday so I decided to go out for awhile and picked up my clothes that I sent for alteration two weeks ago. It was barely more than 2 hours that I was out and then I spent the rest of the day at home. This morning I woke up feeling like crap again, haih. Is it possible for me to be allergic to the outside world?

Anyways, OOTD must go on!

Ho, Ho, Ho

Today as I make my way around town I saw two cute things that made me smile. I saw a car with raindeer antlers on both its sides and then another car with a raindeer's nose on its front. I swear, it was so cute!! I should've snapped a picture but I am terrible at driving and fidgeting with my phone. But I thought it was lovely of the cars' owners to spread the Christmas spirit/joy to others, God bless them.

I don't celebrate Christmas but I like Christmas time. I like seeing people all busy cracking their heads thinking of what to buy for their loved ones, I like seeing people in the grocery store with their grocery lists searching for ingredients for their big Christmas meal (in fact I saw a guy grabbing a whole turkey and he smiled really wide looking really pleased with himself after that), I like how the shopkeepers all wish those celebrating Merry Christmas with a huge smile, I like how families get together for Christmas, I like the joy you immediately feel around Christmas time. You know, just like the joy I'd feel during Raya season.

That warm and fuzzy feeling, how can you just not love it?! :)

Fourth & Counting

I'm going to tell you a mundane fact about me: I've been home for two weeks now, and I've washed and blowed dry my hair about 6 times. Only twice out of those 6 times that I washed and blowed dry my hair myself. The other times,

Jyeahp, I got it done at the salon xD

Here's why.

The first time: It was the first Monday I was home. I needed to get my hair washed and at the same time I wanted to get a haircut. I realised since it's a Monday, my hair stylist wasn't going to be in. So I dragged myself to the toilet, then I realised, my shampoo ran out. Muahahaha, perfect, now I don't have to wash my hair myself, I have extra 30 minutes to spend before getting ready whoopie!

The second time: Was on Thursday the first week I got back. See, Banana and I been wanting to try the Number 76 hair salon since we were still in UK because we kept seeing pictures of people getting their hair done there. Upon searching the website we saw pictures of how their hair treatment makes your hair looks amazing afterwards, so we were sold! We fall for good advertising really easily, it's bad.

The third time: It was the day I actually got a haircut. It comes with the package! I've never heard of anyone getting a haircut without getting it washed and blown together. Hehe x)

The fourth time: I was in Bangsar for the 193813019th time as Min needed someone to accompany her for lunch while her Mum was at the dentist. We did everything. We had lunch, we window shopped, we went for desserts and her mum was still not done yet. So I decided, "You know what, I'm going to need to wash my hair anyways, come let's see if they have an opening for a hair wash". #aisyaslogic #notthemostlogicallogicintheworld #peace #dontbehating

Hehe. I know, I have a problem.

What I Wore when I got my 4th salon hairwash: Shades from Ray-Ban, top from Free Flow on FV, jeans from Primark, favourite gold "slippers" (the only "slippers" I own also) from Midi on FV.

THAT much

Banana has always said, "Nobody will ever love Aisya like how Aisya loves herself.. Her parents, her boyfriend, her bestfriends may love her immensely, but nobody, nobody will love her like she loves herself." In fact we even had this conversation after watching Frozen. See, in the movie, like any other Disney movie said "Only the act of true love can unfroze a frozen heart". 

B: Seriously Aisya, nobody will love you like how you love yourself. If you get frozen, nobody can help you.

M: Actually, if your theory is right, I will never be frozen, because my true love is within me therefore, tadaaaa! I can never be frozen! :D

Loving yourself is not a bad idea afterall eh? :p

But in all honesty, you really cannot blame me for loving myself because seriously, even my own parents denied their love for me..

See, a portion of my family members was in Israel last week as they are visiting the Al-Aqsa Mosque. My parents were expressing their jealousy in the family Whatsapp group when the others were sharing travel pictures.. So I asked my parents during breakfast last weekend,

D: InsyAllah if we don't go to US next year, we'll go to Al-Aqsa nak?

Me: Okay! :D Speaking of that, how come you two tak ikut dieorg this time?

M: We nak ikut, but they're going straight to umrah after that and I don't want to travel rush here rush there, penat!

Me: Ohhh, I thought you guys were waiting for me so then I can ikut too without having to worry about a thing!

M: .. Urr no. We don't love you THAT much, hehehe. We left you before you balik to UK what earlier this year to go to Umrah.

SHE SAID IT. SHE ACTUALLY SAID IT GUYS! Of course after that she continued with "This is not like travelling to Europe or that kind of thing okay. This is to AL-AQSA mosque. One of the three places that Nabi suruh you berebut to go to okay!" but still, the damage was done..

I've said it once, I'll say it again, nobody loves me :( 

Hachooo!

I have so many things to write about. I have 1000 more words to go before I can declare my essay done and finished. I have to write down "important" bits of what happened over the weekend before I forget about it all.. But unfortunately this is how I look like right now,

So all of that must wait til my head stops throbbing, my mucus stop flowing like a waterfall through my nose and til my body decides if it's cold or if it's hot -.-

In the meantime, let's appreciate Ram & Leela :D  Sshhhh! It makes me happy, as you can obviously tell from the picture above, I've abused the other two favourite Hindi movies of mine for the time being..
