Less Jingles

When you're always so drained out on the weekdays, little little things amuses you.

In the last week, I've found myself:
  • Talking to Cik P who was hiding in her client's filing cupboard... I know, she's so weird right?!
  • Next to a 5171 (SITI) on the road. I've always wanted this plate number! 3 reasons: 1. Obviously it's part of my name. 2. My family uses 5070 so I thought 5171 would be significant as the next generation's (my brother & I) cars punya plate numbers you.. Then my kids and nephews/nieces will be 5272... And so on! :D 3. Okay, actually just two reasons. Lol. So you know what I did when I saw the car? Obviously I took a picture, but then I also purposely slowed down (we were in a jam anyways..) so that other cars behind me can experience the same amusement I did having 5070 & 5171 next to each other.. I know, very considerate of me kan? :P (I seriously wished I knew the person in the car behind me so he/she can take that picture for me..)
  • No longer alone! I have seniors now above me, wooohoooo! :3 I feel less "exposed" now.
  • Enjoying ALT+TAB a little bit too much.. Seriously bloody useful lah! (Command+Tab for Macs)
  • Bumping into a lot of "motorised reindeers" (cars with antlers) because it's Christmas season!
Speaking of Christmas season, this year's Christmas eve I am no longer stuck in a jam somewhere in Bangsar (seriously, why the hell did I think Bangsar on Christmas Eve would be a good idea.. Idk). Also I don't really experience the "Christmas vibe" because
  1. No winter
  2. No Oxford Street weekend shopping madness
  3. I didn't hear a lot of Christmas jingles cause I'm hardly at a mall these days..
  4. No family year-end trip (partly because I told my parents I don't want to go lah. I don't intend on moving this weekend mind you).
But I am thankful that this Christmas I get to celebrate Zawir's birthday although miles apart (I know, girlfriend of the year material, totally!)
Actually, as the year is ending, I realise have a lot to be thankful for. Shall do a year-end catch next week..

Anyways,

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Happy New Year!
(Just in case by next week I'm to tired from all the back-to-back meetings scheduled next week.. *wails*)

Holey

I used to gosok baju (iron my clothes) a lot when I was in high school. In fact, I'd wake up a few minutes earlier to iron my baju kurung for school because I just couldn't be bothered to do it the night before. Those were the days where I bothered doing my homework..

Then I went to college where uniform is no longer necessary and then I went to UK where most of the time my clothes will be covered with a jacket/coat or at least a cardigan... Seriously lah, the only time I had to iron my clothes was for Malaysian Open Houses in UK where you're required to wear traditional clothes. Itupun I put my clothes in the toilet while I take a nice long hot shower... *hot shower = lots of steam = steam ironing!! #aisyaslogic*

So yeah, you can imagine how out of touch I am with ironing.

Anyways, a few days ago I really wanted to wear my white shirt (seriously why are all my white shirts require ironing? -.-) so I had to iron my shirt..

IT WAS NOT MY FAULT OKAY! THE IRON GOT TOO HOT TOO QUICK! :(

So I burnt one of my favourite white shirt...

But I still insisted wearing it to the office.

So I did.

Thank God the office is so bloody cold that I like to layer up...

Because...

This happened..

Yeahp..
My shirt tore.

Talk about adding on to the Monday blues eh?

But it's okay, the entire day I went

"Look guys, I'm holey *pokes finger through shirt*"

Guess you know what I'll be doing on Boxing Day!

Lucky Few

This is simply beautiful
I watch too many Hindi movies that I think all guys should be like Raj in DDLJ or Rahul in KKHH/KKKG.
My parents were high school sweethearts, and alhamdulillah they're still together til this day.
These two combined make me have craaaazy expectations about love.
But to all you people who keep telling me, "It only happens in movies". HAH! It does happen in real life tooo!
It may not happen to everyone, unfortunately, but it does for some lucky few.
And I can only hope I am one of those lucky few.
