If I Was You, I Wanna Be Me Too

For some weird reason, my eyes are WIDE awake.. So gonna regret this tomorrow, but hey! At least now I have time to blog a bit (eventhough I intended to blog like 6 hours ago? I really don't know where my time went sometimes..)

Anyways, if you remember, I had a phase an obsession with Bitstrips a few years back.. Honestly I can't remember what changed, but suddenly I just stopped using it (probably it was time to finally focus on my studies or scaring Ashley just got a lot more fun.. I don't know)

Not Bitstrips have jumped on the Emoji bandwagon and created Bitmoji!! While I was contemplating on getting Kimoji (I mean, come on! Don't you wanna use Kim's crying face in your conversation?!), I immediately downloaded Bitmoji once I found out that they can be integrated with your keyboard as another set of well.. Keyboard. So now you can have 3 keyboards (if you only speak English and Malay like me): 1 alphabets, 1 emoji and 1 Bitmoji!!

See what I mean with 3 keyboards? All you have to do is tap on that "globe" button to navigate..

Anyways, after spending quite sometime recreating my Bitmoji (I love how this version has freckles!! And better clothing options, you can change your clothes everyday if you want but #aintnobodygottimeforthat) of course I have to take it out for a spin..

Mother was unimpressed/ unfazed by my new obsession..

But Bitmoji is too cute not to be used more often!!!!

Thankfully I have a friend who shares this passion with me..

#itried...

Bitmoji has quite a selection of Emojis too (and they allow you to search by phrase which is super helpful cause who else find scrolling for the sarcastic smirkin emoji hard? Banyak gila yellow round faces okay!!) though sometimes you kinda have to revert back to actually typing out what you meant to say rather than depicting it thru a cartoon that looks like you.. *rolls eyes..*

I swear I love Bitmoji so much that I try to use it wherever possible (I use it even with my colleagues and bosses okay!!).. And I love how they have "meh"!!!!

Haih Bitmoji... I'm in-love!! (insert A-OOO-GA Bitmoji)

Harry Potter & The Cursed Child

So if you're a BIG Harry Potter fan you'd have known that the 8th book came out about 2 weeks ago - concurrent with the start of the play in London (SO JEALOUS!!).

Since I've been reading Harry Potter since my age was still a single digit basically, of course I was one of those who put in a pre-order for the book. This was back in March.

About two days before the launch date - I got a call from Borders informing of the pick-up time (this was also the same day as my first Flycycle class btw). So I was super excited to pick it up (they said between 7AM - 10AM, hence why I woke up at 8AM).

That night when I went for dinner I started reading, but I went thru it too fast and decided to stop and save it for my (then) upcoming PD trip (which is a story for another day). BEST. DECISION. EVER. MADE.

THIS was my view for the entire time I was reading the book (well I also read in between lunch - and who says no to food?!).

That Sunday I carried the book everywhere - to the pool, to the restaurant and back to the pool, until I finished it.

I basically told my friends "Guys, for the rest of the day, I'm going to be in my own zone, until I finish the book". And I did so in 4 hours :"( I WISH THE BOOK NEVER ENDSSSSSSSSSSSS!

By the time it ended, I was itching to talk to someone about the book and fangirl all over it. I even went to work the following week and asked if anyone had read the book (no one finished it yet.. pfft!). Finally, after 4 days, Cik P caught up.

p/s; Spoilers alert. For those planning to read it, please turn away NOW.

Haaaa... Legaaaaaaa!

Now, to restart everything back from book #1!!!!!!

Beautiful Chocolate Bit in The Cone

About a couple of weeks back, I attended one of my ex-housemate's (Ashley's) wedding. Yes, the same Ashley where we had our Cornetto analogy, the same one who'd spend hours in "The Boat" with me - because really, there's no getting out of that thing once you're in it.. & yes, the same Ashley that locked herself in the bathroom (in case of a Zombie apocalypse, that's where you'll find her).

After all those time spent together, I am glad that she has found her life partner! I'm sure Michael will be a much better housemate than Zayana & I ever was Ash! Considering he might never try to scare you intentionally every chance he gets.. But he won't be able to make a killer chicken korma like I did though - that I'm confident about too :p

So here's to wishing Ashley & Michael a lifetime of happiness and well-wishes! (Cause you told me you read this blog..): Truly Ash, I am so happy that you got what you wished for. Seeing & hearing what you went through and then witnessing you achieving your happy ending just firms my belief that happy ever after do exists, even for real-life "princesses" like us. We may go through life on a separate path these days, but E11 shall always be the one thing that holds us together - looking forward to catching up with you at the next E11 wedding! Have a blast in UK!!!

*Okay, enough sappiness - lets go to happy photos!*

The beautiful bride - she managed to wear flats! (I was in like 4-5 inches heels to get to that height...) So syiok - walking around your wedding in flats! Heaven for your feet man!!

(Also I decided to wear saree because since Michael is not Malaysian, I shall showcase the traditional Malaysian wear - besides baju kurung and cheongsam. Also cause I just really want a saree)

I've known this bunch since primary school guys! Can you believe it?! & For some, we've not seen each other since like primary school ended probably, lol.

Ram joked when he saw me: "You look really familiar.. But I can't remember from where".. Sure Ram, sure.

 BU4 peeps!

The quaint decoration of the wedding - very Ash-esque I must say.

Because obviously we didn't get to catch up that much during the wedding, we scheduled a dinner the week after. It felt like we were back in the kitchen where I'd tell her the bimbo thing I'd done for the day and she'd laugh and go "Oh Aisya....." or you know, me turning to Zayana and going "YOUR friend" :p

p/s: Please read the Cornetto analogy to understand the title :p
