A Decade In Review: 2010

*swoosh swoosh*

This blog needs a clean up! Progressively I shall get to it, insyaAllah.

But 13 days ago, we started a fresh new decade and I vowed that I will do a more detailed recap of the decade on my blog - as the 10 pictures/ posts on Instagram wasn't enough, I mean seriously, how does one fit 10 years in 10 posts?! Can't comprehend..

Plus, where better to do a recap than an online "journal" where majority of my life during that decade have been chronicled.. (Granted some years were much better chronicled than others).

I can't even comprehend how I should even start this...

2010

Without me realising, it was a year of fresh start. I started my pre-university journey, fresh out of high school thinking "I am going to be a doctor" (by the end of it I decided that I do not have the discipline for it and resorted to accounting & finance degree). I moved from my childhood house to a new area, started driving, got into my first accident, got my first car... But definitely the highlight of this era was definitely college - All the moments I went through with the people below.. they're priceless!!

Some of which that I can recall from the top of my memories are:

1. The Doctors of Tomorrow (DOT) Club that we started that sparked my joy in event management, basically ever since DOT any position I take in a club is always something to do with event management.. And it's all because by the time DOT was created I knew I didn't want to be a doctor anymore, but because everybody in my class was involved in the club, I knew I needed to be a part of it and Azzim was kind enough to let me hold the position of event manager for all DOT's events simply because "Sya likes to plan stuff" (at this age, the only "planning" I did was calling a bunch of friends together to go out to watch a movie or something...)

2. The FAAAAAAAKing crazy cold temperature of TCSH, we resorted to eating hot cup noodles in class (sometimes we just want to hold the cup more than we actually want to eat) and even plastered mahjong paper at the aircond's vent #creative

3. All the random moments in college like performing dances that were so not my type of dance (salsa, hiphop, burlesque), dissecting mice that Azzim accidentally killed because he didnt know mice needed air and put them in a box that did not have air ventilation (this guy is a certified doctor now guys...), our random outings and the countless amount of "camwhoring" (such as 2010 term right? :p) that we did...

Many people in this photo have graduated with a science degree in their pockets, so its good to know that my dental and medical needs are sorted :p #thanksguys!
