Bali 2018

So one night, while we were chilling at Chawan (#tempatlepakstandard..), we were talking about how we desperately need a holiday - it was that time of the year you know where Q1 just finished, you're halfway in Q2 and you're feeling the blues..

Me: You know what.. I really just wanna go to Bali and get massages each day!

And the next thing I knew, everyone was on board with this plan and in the midst of planning the charity drive, we were booking our flights and villas for Bali.. #perform

With a couple of new addition later, we were #Frinally on our way to Bali on the 13th of July, and I couldn't be more excited!

Even before the trip started I've decided to vlog because I am not doing a 4-parts write up like how I did for Spain..., so enjoyyyyy~ :)

p/s: I apologise if for the amateur-ness of this vlog, but I'll try to improve for the next one!

My personal highlight of the trip: Kelingking Beach.

I mean just look at that! Here I am a girl who refuses to hike like every other person around my age group back in KL, and just because I saw people playing at the beach down below I immediately went "I WANT TO GO DOWN!!!" without thinking of the consequences (of coming back up..)..

400m (to put things into perspective, the Eiffel Tower is only about 324m tall and the Petronas Twin Towers are about 452m... #whatfearofheights) downward vertical height later, we were greeted with one of the most breath taking view (quite almost literally)!

The water were so blue and cooling, it was a shame that I did not came prepared!! I'd have so enjoyed the water otherwise, haih. (We planned for a trip to Nusa Penida just to go to Angel's Billabong and thought we weren't allowed to swim there so no one brought extra clothes..) But boys being boys, they were just like #yolo

I mean with water that blue, who can blame them... Plus, it's really funny to see what happens next..

Anyways, all things considered I had sucha good time in Bali and it was definitely refreshing to hit pause from the #corporateslave life for awhile and get some much needed vitamin sea.

More of my favourite pics from the trip below (either captured by me, or the photos were just in my phone, lol)

With my Bali PIC (Partner in Crime or Person in Charged: Of me in case of emergencies, of supporting my irrational/ crazy ideas e.g. 400m vertical hike, of listening to my late night rambles which may/ may not have included topics like Star Wars/ Harry Potter/ random Thai movie, of all the nonsense crap that you'd never expect coming out from her mouth cause of her dressing and end up making me laugh non-stop like a mad woman, of ensuring my pictures are on point, of introducing me to Lightroom, of my blog/ vlog logo because I am hopeless with AI, i.e. Adobe Illustrator, but I doubt I'm any better at artificial intelligence either.. and many more!) - Thank you Ain!

Til next time,

xx, A.
