Graduation Day

I just realised I've not yet shared pictures of my Graduation Day that happened back in July.. My apologies!

My graduation was on the 22nd of July 2014, two days before mother turned 47 years old. So yes you're right if you assumed her birthday present was a piece of paper with my name on it :p

I got up super early that morning while every body else in the house (my parents, brother, aunt and cousin who came all the way from Malaysia to support me, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOUUUUU!) was still asleep because they had to wake up for Sahur and Subuh (God made it easy for me during fasting month while I was in UK, alhamdulillah). By 7.30 I left the house and told Mummy & Daddy (they were the only ones awake) I'll meet them there at the function & to remember to take their tickets that I've left on the table.

One of the last few, if not the last, selfie I took in this lift. :'( #nostalgic

I took a risk by wearing white and wearing pants for my graduation but hey, at least I don't look pantless (which I would've because the robe was HUGE on me..)

What I Wore: Top from Marks & Spencer, pants from I-Really-Have-No-Idea, white court shoes from ZARA.

See what I mean!

After getting cloaked, this was happening A LOT! Fixing the mortar, fixing the sash.. But I quite like our sash, of all the other universities graduating sash.

I mean my robe has a hoodie... how cool is that?! :D I totally felt like the Slytherin I always wanted to be in that.

If I'm not mistaken the event started at 8.30AM.

The picture Kookie took from watching the ceremony on live streaming :')

Post the ceremony was spent taking more pictures (seriously mother was on her roll with her Note).

Unfortunately Raema had a train to Paris to catch, so she's MIA :(

Cik P & I made our way back to school. If you think I walked there.. Hahahahahaha! Memang tak lah!

The hill to school looks like THAT, there's no way I'll make it up there in heels and in one piece.. Either the shoes or me would've been broken..

Seriously, that's at least a 30 degrees inclination, no?! Even Daddy had trouble making sure the car doesn't turun balik :p

Once we were done at the school, we made our way to the church where Pisang & I met. We've always talked about how we HAVE to take a picture in front of the church on graduation day, so both MUST graduate together. We would've taken a photo with Shrimpy at the Stephenson building too, but that girl too cool to wait for us :(

Literally where it all began.

The same spot I was sitting at 3 years ago while waiting for class & this girl suddenly approached me asking if I was Malaysian.

Quote Pisang: "I heard you talking the day before, and then when you exited the class I saw your bag and I immediately knew, 'YES! She's self sponsored too!'" -____-'

So yeah basically that's the only time where Cik Pisang crawled her way into my life, after that it was all just me :p

Our epic "WE FINALLY MADE IT!!!" shot

And what it took to achieved it.. Don't worry, no banana was harmed in the process :p

Also this was us before every shot was taken :p

Seriously, susah okay nak maintain the hat and everything properly -.-

Once we were all happy with the photos, we parted ways and called it a day..

I also made my way to the gift shop and got myself an alumni t-shirt with my name on it! And also for other people.

Like him :*
