Meet Casper!

This is a story about my "Casper friend".

No, not this one. That's just Zayana having an exam meltdown..

Anyways, the story started sometime early last summer. See, I have a favourite necklace and one day this favourite necklace of mine went missing. My last memory of it was taking it off before I showered and putting it in my wardrobe along with my other jewellery. And I swear I checked that place like at least 5 times, and other possible places where I might leave my things before declaring it "lost".

So I told Kookie (my aunt) about it hoping she'd know where it is cause sometimes I leave things in her room and she'll put it somewhere else safe til I remember to come and claim it back from her (then she'll give me a lecture about how I should put things back where I took it from and not leave things laying around and maybe I should just hang things on my neck so I don't lose it.. Oh the irony of the situation!)

Me: Rantai kita hilang..

And instead of trying to help me, you know what she said?!

Kookie: Haaa! Hantu amik kot! Hehehe.

I'm quite sure she was trying to be funny and was just messing with me, Kookie likes to spook me with ghost stories at the WORST time, I swear.. Safe to say, after that I slept in her room for quite awhile. Well what was I suppose to do?! She told me "things" likes abandoned places and well my room has been left "abandoned" for 6 months while I was in UK..

I ain't sleeping with Casper yo! See, the thing about me is, I call all ghost Casper. It makes them less scary for me, and it makes them "friendlier" to talk about..

Anyways, one night, while I was still upset about my missing necklace and was whining like a baby to Kookie,

Kookie: ... Pergi lah suruh Casper pulangkan balik.

And well that before falling asleep,

Me: Casper, Hi.. Will you please return my necklace? I really like the necklace Casper..

And guess what?! The next morning, I woke up and found the necklace exactly where I remember leaving it at. Alhamdulillah :)

Of course I also had a mini conversation with Casper after that,

"Thank you for returning my neckalce. If you really need a

necklace, you can take these necklaces okay Casper? Just not this one.. Thank you!"

Casper was probably happy with the arrangement, because I did not lose anything else after that, until..

It was time for me to leave to UK and well I was looking for my infinity ring to bring it with me (because Kookie won't allow me to take my favourite rings that are hers) and I couldn't find it.. Searched everywhere; underneath my bed (the ring is a size too big and thought it might slipped off while I wore it to sleep one night), in all the pockets in my handbag that I wore that week, asked Kookie 5000 times "You SUUUUURE I did not leave it in your room? I remember taking it off masa nak makan"..

I even talked to Casper,

"This REALLY is not the time to mess with me by taking my ring Casper.. GIVE IT BACK >("

Still nadaa.. Zilch.

So I left for UK without the ring, and told Kookie to keep looking for it because I just KNOW it's in the house somewhere.

Two days ago,
