Today I am a graduate.

That's the end of my formal education. The feeling is surreal.

Breathtakingly Beautiful

Phew, food for buka is ready! About an hour more til buka.. Surprisingly fasting for 19 hours was easier done that I thought it'd be, alhamdulillah.

Anyways, we're now back in Sheffield after a quick trip to Lake District.

SubhanAllah, Lake District was so beautiful, peaceful, and definitely breathtaking. I mean, just look at this sunset!

This was the view from our apartment.

It was so nice to be cooking and looking at this view, ya Allah :")

And then after sahur while waiting for Subuh, we saw the crescent moon and me with my love story with the moon sat outside at the porch while moon-gazing & stargazing. It was so relaxing and calming for the soul.

More on Lake District later, now to prepare for my graduation tomorrow. O.O

I'M GRADUATING!!!!!! OMG!

Tragic & Unfortunate

Before anything, my deepest condolences to the family members of MH17 & Al-Fatihah to those unfortunate victims.

...

.....

As I was queueing at the UK Immigration upon landing, Pisang texted
Cik P: THANK GOD YOU'VE LANDED!!!!! ... Wait, you HAVE landed right?!

Me: Yes I have.. Why? Miss me? Dude, it's only been 12 hours *smirks*

Cik P: No you idiot! There was a MAS crash! I was worried!

Not long after that a few other Malaysians that just landed from the same MH4 flight were also talking about the same thing; the MAS flight getting shot down somewhere close to Russia.

We were all of course saddened by the news, but at the same time we couldn't help but to say thank you to God for our safe landing.. Alhamdulillah.

We did our maths and we probably just passed that area about an hour before the incident :/ It's still kinda eerie to think how we just passed by the same route as MH17, though in opposite direction (because all MAS flights between Europe-KL takes the same route apparently), and instead of MH17, it could've been our flight, MH4. O.O Nauzubillah, astaghfirullahalazim.

It could've happened to any one of us.

It was a very tragic and unfortunate event, not just for the families of the victims, but for both airline companies and involved countries too.

Al-Fatihah.

Wardrobe Crisis!

I am leaving for the airport in about 9 hours, of course I've not pack.. But that's not even the problem.. The problem is, I don't know WHAT to pack! O.O

Honestly, what DO you wear for your graduation? An event where you know you're going to take a photograph, a photograph which at this rate is more important than your IC/passport photographs (you get to change them once your turn 21/when your passport expires)!! This is the photograph that you'll be hanging in your home. One in your parents' house and one in (insyAllah) my own home where my  parents grandkids and my kids are going to see (and shall not judge, hopefully).. This is a photograph that will last a life time! O.O

So yeah, I'm a little freaked out. What DO you wear?!

I know for a fact that I'd prefer to be in pants. I'm sorry, when I see bare legs underneath a robe, it just looks weird to me.. :/ I think it's all those wearing-a-robe-w/o-wearing pants/wearing shorts around the house that I do that destroyed the image for me.. I'd feel... Not dressed.

But should I not find a suitable (read: formal, yet fancy, but not over the top, yet outstanding, but not in a clown-ish way) top to go with pants, I guess I have to resort to a dress.. There are just so many options for mixing and matching! Ahhhhhhh!

I just can't make up my minddddd, haih!

But one thing I know though,

I'm graduating in a pair of white court heels.
Min: Sya! What are you wearing for graduation?

Me: If you're asking about what clothes I'm wearing, I don't know. But I'm wearing these babies (the shoes) for graduation :D

Min: How can you pick a shoe before you pick out what clothes you're going to wear?!

Me: .... I do that all the time!

Pisang Chanela & Kentang Diorelly

Hi guys! I've some pretty exciting news to share with you! But first, some back story..

Cik Pisang & I have all sorts of nickname for each other. Besides the most common Pisang & Kentang, there's also Chanela & Diorelly. If you're a constant reader of this blog, you'd know how these names came about.

Cik P & I also are very clingy, that's very obvious. We do (almost) everything together, apa taknyer, we live in the same house, we do the same courses, if tutorials were up to us, we'd choose the same tutorial groups... Attached at the hips I tell you!

Every exams period our clingy level just elevates. There'll be nights where we spend in each other's room because we can't be bothered to go back to our rooms.. We spend (almost) every waking moment together, eat at the same time, watch the same TV shows while we eat, study the same thing, everything!

Thankfully when we freak out for an exam, we don't freak out together (that would not be pretty, Ashley would've to probably slap us..). We take turns. On days where I'm freaking out, Pisang would have to be the rock and snap some sense back into me. On days when Pisang is freaking out, I draw pictures..
BsSKBUTCEAAfWTy

I'm no Picasso, but hey! She thought it was beautiful enough to put it up on her wall (next to a picture of her father to motivate her..)

See, I went crazy with all the details. I gave the Pisang a nice beautiful butt (because Pisang really loves her butt, she gets depressed when her butt "dropped"), she's wearing a Chanel footwear AND also carrying a Chanel clutch! Would've drawn a pair of Chanel earings for her too, but bananas do not have ears! Pfft. For the cute little round thing (Potato = a.k.a ME!), I gave her the Diorissimo bag and a pair of heels because, hello, I'm always in heels for formal events! They're both wearing the graduation hat as a sign that they're graduating (the whole motivation purpose of this drawing) and they're holding hands (indicating that we'll conquer this together til the end). And of course, the #forever #tilJannah..

As for the #4YearsLagi is not an indication that we'll need 4 more years to graduate (nauzubillah!) but it's 4 more years til our friendship turns 7! One day while we were studying,

Pisang: You know Kentang, I read somewhere that once your friendship turns 7 years old, it'll last forever..

Me: Muahahaha, that's 4 years more for you to try to get rid of me otherwise you'll NEVER be rid of me, muahahahaha! >)

I was all secretive when I drew this, it's not easy trying to be sneaky when you're in the same room okay! And once I'm done, I showed and her reaction was "AWHHHH KENTANG! YOU'RE SO SWEET! I LOVE YOU :") I'LL COOK FOR YOU AND DO YOUR LAUNDRY AND BLAHBLAH".

Ahahaha, of course not. That's never our friendship. Her real reaction was:

"AHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA! Now everytime I look at you, all I see is this little round thing *points to Potato in photo*"

.... -______________________-" Oh well, at least the Potato in the picture looks cute!

Anyways, the good news is, Alhamdulillah(!!!!!), thank you all for your well wishes and prayers, both Pisang Chanela & Kentang Diorelly are graduating in 9 more days! :D :D :D :D
